The Problem
Medication non-adherence is a $300 billion problem in the US. Existing apps were too clinical and failed to account for the emotional and practical barriers patients face daily.
The Solution
I designed a compassionate, human-centered experience using behavioral design principles: smart reminders that adapt to routines, a gentle streak system for positive reinforcement, and a simple logging flow that takes under 30 seconds. Caregiver and provider dashboards were designed for coordination without overwhelm.
The Outcome
Medication adherence improved 68% among active users, and 82% of users reported feeling more in control of their health. The app maintains a 4.8-star rating with over 50,000 reviews.
